If you can plan it out right, the first Tuesday of every month is free for you and your date to visit the California Surf Museum. Hop on the trolley to get you from one end to the other and pretend like you’re in Europe for the evening. The charm never wears off in this little Italian corner of San Diego.
Rent Some Bikes and Ride By The Ocean

Rent a tandem bike or a Surrey and ride along the beautiful Harbor Drive. Don’t worry about looking too goofy, just pretend you’re a tourist for the evening and have a fun date. It’s best to remember not to “drink and pedal” though. There are criminal charges for biking under the influence in San Diego so keep the brewskies at bay.
Hike Torrey Pines State Reserve

It’s never a bad time to hike at Torrey Pines in beautiful La Jolla, California. While you can find some free parking here, it’s usually quite limited so expect to pay $15 to park the car. Don’t forget your camera since you can sometimes catch a seal or two sunning on the rocks. Not to mention the gorgeous ocean views that will make all your land-locked friends jealous.
