DMV Hearing won! The DMV set aside clients suspension (March 2013)

After a telephonic DMV hearing, the DMV set a side our clients DMV suspension from a DUI. Mr. Corbett was able to successfully argue the case to the DMV. And the DMV did not meet the burden to suspend the case.

Serna Motion- Lack of Speedy Trial- 2nd Offense DUI (February 2013)

Our client was not brought to court in a timely matter, so we filed the appropriate motion and the judge granted our request to dismiss the case. The client did not have to pay the $2500 fine. He did not have to do the 18 month multiple conviction program. And most importantly he did not have to go to jail.

California Health and Safety Code 11550- Under the influence of a Controlled substance. (May 2013)

Mr. Corbetts law office was able to get this case completely dismissed. We showed the District Attorneys office proof that my client was testing clean and was going to a drug rehab, and they dismissed the case.

Defendant stole $300 worth of goods from a school bookstore. Mr. Corbett was able to negotiate a deal with the city attorney to have the case dismissed after 6 months if the defendant completed a theft class and completed 20 hours of community service.

Facing a felony strike and up to 3 years in state prison. Mr. Corbett was able to get the case dismissed at the Preliminary (evidentiary) Hearing.
